Uh...no. It is NOT related. They are on 2 totally different trajectories...and if you know anything about orbital mechanics...you know that means they are not related. Not sure, but the Russian meteor looks like it is coming from the NE or NNE. 2012 DA14 is coming from the south. Now...if you don't know anything about orbital mechanics...I could see why you would be confused.

My comment was a sarcastic reference to the overt politization of NASA under the obama regime. I didn't think a sarc tag was necessary.

Now...if you don't understand sarcasm...I could see why you would be confused.

Perhaps you just have a very bad sense of humor. Considering the “anti-scientific/the government is always wrong” tenor on this site at times...it is very difficult to tell the difference between those who get it...and those who don’t.
