Altitude could be calculated from the shadow on the satellite video.
If I could hunt down a video showing the start of the trail AND the boom, it could be guestimated from the time delay but one problem is the speed of sound changes a little bit with altitude.
It would have to be video where the meteorite went directly overhead as well, of course, to make the calculation easier.

The calculations from that may be different from what the article says.

I didn’t know about the earlier thread - what was a “hoax” was the video of the decades-long natural gas crater fire in Azerbaijan was being posted as supposedly being the impact crater.
The problem is that natural gas fire crater looks like the meteorite craters from bad movies.
One tip-off for false meteor falls in general is reports that they started fires, etc. Small meteors actually land at room temperature.
