That is actually the truth.
True story..I was doing port duty for the 11th MEU when in port of a muzzie country. My partner was of the foreign country's "guard" (this was back in the early 90's BTW). He asked about "American ""Magazines". Sure, no problem I thought (not fully understanding muzzies at that point). My shift was done, my relief arrived, I went back aboard ship and grabbed a couple mag's laying around the berthing area's as a gift for my new found sentry friend.
I no sooner gave him the mags than he handed me just a handful of "stuff" (one being a keychain with a pic of himself, still have it..LOL). He BAILED his post and left dust in his wake (presumably to FAP land) after turning the first few pages. I wound up pulling a double shift as the other Marine who had taken my original watch said "WTF man? I'm not staying here alone.".

My daughter did a tour in the sandbox. She was normally a jet mechanic but had to do her time over there like most others. From what she told me porn was like gold and you could divert a terrorism plan with a well placed cache of porn mags. Literally.
They would rather fap than fight for Allah!
