LOS ANGELES (AP) -- There was no question. The man standing before Rick Heltebrake on a rural mountain road was Christopher Dorner. Clad in camouflage from head to toe and wearing a bulletproof vest packed with ammunition, the most wanted man in America over the last week was just a few feet away, having emerged from a grove of trees holding a large, assault-style rifle.

This came from a fire dept. scanner.
The fed? Burn who down? Are you on the correct thread?
Alaska Wolf ~ Why haven't you already queried an LEO? Call your local PD.
Perhaps SargeK can answer that question.
I heard the audio on CNN ealier today (sick dad watches it, not me!).
Yes the fed. It stands for a federal authority that has taken control of a given situation or area which supersedes local jurisdiction.
You, sir, are projecting.
Because I have just read enough of your posting history, going back several months, to know it is probably futile to try and have a discussion with you. I am done. You also linked to the Drudge Retort, a well known left wing propaganda site as well.
About the only thing we might agree on is that Sarah Palin is a wonderful woman. Let’s keep it at that. Good night.
“Apparently he is somewhat of a hero to some Freepers.”
I’m not seeing that. What some people are concerned about is tactics and perhaps now a coverup. Dorner is a cold-blooded killer with a vendetta and a really creepy leftist following, but where FR is concerned this is no different than parsing Waco etc. I’m paying attention to this especially because these are (more than ever!) uncertain times.
That is good enough for me and indeed better than left wing media from California or the Drudge Retort...lol. Thanks for drawing my attention to his post.
Comparisons to Waco or Ruby Ridge are idiotic. Nobody went out shooting cops and family members in those events.
I can post others. Do you have a list of YOUR approved sources? What links have you posted supporting your allegations? Christopher Dorner: how did the fire start? | World news | guardian ...

I await with unbridled enthusiasm.
Fed? Funny how the headline reads, but the injured and killed were Riverside police officers.

Riverside Officer Michael Crain, 34, a married father of two who served two tours in Kuwait as a rifleman in the Marines, was killed in the attack. His partner remains hospitalized, Police Chief Sergio Diaz said, and it was unclear if he would be able to return to active duty.
I appreciate your getting facts from the UK. They have done quite a stone better than Cbs lately.
My condolences to the Crain family. As you well know, he did not shoot burners into that cabin.
Try again
Stop gazing at your navel and read the entire post. Then answer the questions.
Who claimed he did, strawman? Name the people that you claim did and provide an approved source. Thank you in advance.
When does legitimate police action become premeditated murder under color of authority? It looks very much like this might, just might, be one of those times.
That bothers me.
That Dorner is dead doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
