The mother of all mysteries, making Stuxnet look like a B-grade movie, is unfolding in Israel over Prisoner X.

There's not much of a mystery other than who Zygier was working for.
It seems clear that Zygier was working in intelligence, that he betrayed Israeli intelligence in favor of some other intelligence organization, he got caught and he was imprisoned.
His death's status will never be resolved and the information he passed will remain secret.

Isn’t it obvious Prisoner X was caught trying to leak or sell operational information on Stuxnet?
We all did a good job keeping it secret until Obama decided to disclose.

Was he spying for the US?Probably not, or he would have been swapped for Jonathan Pollard. Iran sounds more likely.

Considering the fact that he was a dual Australian/Israeli citizen working for Mossad, the Australian government got told of his arrest/imprisonment 3 years ago via intel channels instead of diplomatic channels and the Australian government hasn’t raised a peep in all that time...
I’d guess that he was possibly was a double agent for ASIS that got caught.
