I was never a Chubby Checker fan. Hank Ballard and the Midnighters did the original version of the Twist - Chubby Checker only lucked into the Twist when Dick Clark was unable to book Ballard to perform the song on “American Bandstand”, so he booked Chubby Checker in his place. That being said, however, if Chubby Checker does have his name trademarked, and Hewlett-Packard is using it without his consent, then he does have a case.
