Communism and fascism are just two sides of the same God-hating, freedom-hating totalitarian coin. Both lead to the same place. Culture of death. They do not allow economic freedom or freedom of religion, freedom of speech, right to keep and bear arms, right to trial, right to be secure in home and personal effects, in fact no freedoms at all. They suppress religion because they don’t want to recognize a belief in the Creator or that rights are God-given or that man has a soul. If there is no God, them man has no soul. No God, no soul, no rights, no freedom. In other words, to the totalitarians man is just another soulless animal on earth. And can be herded, treated and slaughtered like animals. Ask the innocent masses who were murdered or starved to death by Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot or any other Marxist/fascist dictator all down through history.

It’s just that today’s liberals/Progressives see communism and fascism as opposites.
They see conservatives represented by Republicans as the enemy and have put Republicans in the Fascist camp because it makes republicans easy targets.
It is my contention that Progressives think they are choosing the lesser of two evils. With no concept of life without top down control.
As 12 to 22 year old students learn the horror of Hitler, fascism and the holocaust, any force other than the US that fought them seems to have validity. A force that has at it’s foundation the utopian appeal of fairness and social justice. Nevermind the oppression, fear, purges and death required to achieve this utopia, it’s a work in progress after all.

They fear freedom, because it requires Faith in their fellow man.
They have no faith in their fellow man because they think everyone else thinks like them.

Prideful
and the list goes on.
They don’t trust us. Because they know themselves.
They don’t trust themselves, so they are perfectly happy to give control to the only higher power they can conceive.
I agree, it all comes down to belief in God.
Without God, there is no meaning to life.
Without meaning, everything is permissible.
In addition, I believe they suppress their own nature for self-gratification and convenience among their peers.
It is sad to say, but we are dealing with children, children that scream and yell, children that have found themselves in power.
They are fundamentally insecure and are fighting for their right to remain that way.
