Holy, crap! That’s 100 million transfers, many I am sure were new firearms. As another poster puts it, they ain’t buying because someone might ban them, they are buying them because they believe they will need them. Another thing to remember is that guns are very durable. With care, a gun will last a century or more. I bought all I think I'll need by the end of the Clinton presidency.

Same here. We still buy when new models come out that we like, like the Ruger LCP.
