The reason it was mentioned is the WOD has created much anger and distrust and allowed LE and government in general to expand, giving them more control, power and drove LE into a paramilitary, “us VS them” force.
This should have never been allowed to reach the point it has. The WOD was a perfect excuse allowing big gov and LE to ramp up, commando style.
