Obama's worldview is not and has never been in sync with that of most (legitimate) African Americans. His worldview isn't defined by Selma, but by Mau Mau and Marxist pamphlets on college campuses. Nevertheless, I find it almost laughable when black activists voice disagreements with Obama on any issue. In a hypothetical world where Obama could run for a third term, there isn't a thing that Obama could do that would stop blacks from voting for him by at least a 10 to 1 margin.

If anyone thinks immigration is a tipping point issue that will take blacks off the Democratic plantation, think again. Both radical Islamists and NOW feminists seem to have no difficulty cohabiting in the left's big, happy family, so I don't expect there to be any big split between Chicanos and blacks either.
