OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Eight people were arrested Monday at a construction site for the Keystone XL oil pipeline in central Oklahoma, including one man who locked himself to a crane-like piece of machinery, authorities said.
The two women and six men were arrested on trespassing complaints at the site near the town of Schoolton, Seminole County sheriff's Chief Deputy Chris Conn said. On woman also was cited for resisting arrest. None of their names has been released.
"We had several individuals on private property who refused to leave, and they were arrested for trespassing," Conn said. "One individual was chained to some equipment ... his wrists were chained together."
The organizers, Protesters from the Great Plains Tar Sands Resistance, cited environmental concerns and the oil extraction's impact on indigenous people as the reason for their protest.

You can call me names..and slurs, I'm good with that. But you both missed the point of my post.
Ha!!! I'm not lonely...nor a ninny. And certainly not a "self-appointed noble" LOL!!!
Do yourself a favor...and look up my original post on theis thread.
If you still want to carry on like spider monkey's then get back to me.........
Can you at least throw the baseballs back?
But i will answer...
Spiked trees are meant to do harm obviously they are "terrorists"....Some dumbass camped up in a tree not intending harm to anyone isn't. Not that I don't think they should be removed and jailed.
Congress has been protested against...over the years. Is that an anti-American ploy?
Pipelines being protested against...I've no problem with. Protest to your hearts content. The minute it become violent...damaging..then it's terrorist. Take them to jail, and fine them, jail them...whatever.
I guess...I'm going to have to tell you too........Look up my FIRST response on this thread. And think about it in context....
FWIW-
I know it can be easy to say...just kill them. And hell I've that sentiment many times a month.
But when the rubber meets the road...it's quite a bit harder than that.
And then there's that thing about Conservatives protesting things just like the lefty's do. But we aren't violent, for the most part these days. It ain't 1776 anymore....Might happen again..who knows?
My whole point in posting here...was to say...we don't want the Feds to be droning any American for simply protesting anything. Period. The poster I replied to...implied that very thing.
Fair enough?
By George, you are the same old coot. That’s just he said the last time we asked for our ball back.
>> By George, you are the same old coot.
And you’re the same smartass delinquent you used to be. Hope you made something of yourself besides a vandal. Did you get a *job* when you got out of reform school? Damned social security won’t be worth nuthin’ with this generation to depend on.
:-)
In most cases.
In this case, not so much. These goofballs have extracted a cost that isn't recoverable.
How do you feel about the land owner setting up a table and charging $5 each for 2 minutes with his full-auto paint-ball gun?
Plural of monkey is "monkeys," not "monkey's".
Thought you might want to know so you can properly inform me as to how many of your band will being trying to come through my fence.
Jed's already a millionaire. There is a couple dozen oil wells around there.
I know it won't last forever. But I bet it will last as long as I live here. When I move out to the lake, I won't miss the traffic. I'll get my own cows and horse to look at. And if the oil well comes in, I'll get to look at that even sooner.
Cheers

So you are good with disrupting the lifeblood of America, energy? If your interpretation of damaging similar to “what the meaning of is, is”?
I just got out of reform school. Will be attending the first grade next fall. I plan to be either a brain surgeon or a streetcar conductor.
