Graham’s hold could be defeated, but given the reason for it — a lack of cooperation from the White House rather than the flaws of the nominees themselves — Graham might be able to keep enough Republicans in his corner to make it stick.
So, a nominee for an appointed office can be incompetent as Hell and he'll get a pass, but if the White Hut is obstinate about a semi-related issue, then the nominee can be held?? That's ass-backwards.
But he is powerful....anything that is useful and fits in prior patterns is useful to get answers from him.
