Those are widely believed to be a forgery. Malachy lived in the 1100s. The prophecies were “discovered” in the 1500s. Their accuracy about popes prior to the 1500s is often pretty good. After the 1500s, they get more and more vague and off the mark.

I am not “not all at worried”, although am familiar with that information. Sometimes claims of hoaxes are themselves false. One can debate whether or not some of the more recent descriptions were “hits”, but I would not get too complacent about this.
Thanks for that link. That sounds better. I guess “Glory of the Olive” refers to Pope Benedict, but that doesn’t seem to make any sense.
“Peter the Roman” should be the next Pope. I guess “prophetic” tomes like Nostradamus were the product of that age.
