IF the NRA had ANY guts at all, they woudl take soem of the 100’s of millions of dolalrs they make and run an ad before and after the address showing a large goup of little old ladies who were SAVED because they had guns i nthe house AND used them! and show mothers who were able to succesfully defend themselves when armed itnruders broke into their homes intendign htem harm, and showing asking the question “If the left thinks the police are all we need for self defence, then how coem 28 children died at Sandy Hook? How come columbine happened? How come Virginia tech happened? The police WERE NOT THERE to protect ANYONE i nthsoe gun free zones! Thety GOT THERE TOO LATE- just as they almsot ALWAYS do! And the NRA should make it clear that IF the police are all we need for protection, then EVERYONE in public office shoudl fire their personal guards and simpyl wait until police arrive AFTER they get to a phone if someoen should threaten them or break into their homes etc- just liek they want all of us to have to do
The Republicans should leave all their guest seats empty to represent the lives destroyed in future generations by the current Dems treasonous overspending.
They’d need the Superdome to house just a tenth of the victims of gun violence from democratically-controlled cities and towns for last year.
