Not only do they need him Dead, even if someone tried to claim said reward, they would probably never collect. By the time the city pays the innocent victims that the Police tried to EXECUTE, and the fact that Los Angeles is already bankrupt, there is NO MONEY to give anyone. Not to mention we are talking about the most Dishonest People on the planet, remember the LAPD has been Willfully Violating Direct Court Orders for over 10 years, see NRA. The Entire City Council and the Mayor have been implicated Big Time in a Ticket Fixing Scandal that has been going on for 10 years or longer.

If Dorner REALLY wanted to do a number on the LAPD, he’d find somewhere he could survive surrendering and do so...

Of course the LAPD would probably shoot him “while attempting to escape” as soon as they got their hands on him.

Geez, its like the Eastern Front - two bad guys goin’ head to head.

I miss the days when all cops were Joe Friday, or Adam 12.

Not only would the city be bankrupt, Dorner dead, the bounty hunter would probably be charged with some nebulous fiream offense, like stepping 4-5”-off of his property to discharge a weapon, and he’d be charged, arraigned and jailed, too. NUTZ. The Black Victims’Reparations Crows - Jackscum, Sharpscum, Black Pampers, Wright et al - would be descending upon the scene like flies to steaming poop. He’d get “Zimmerized” and in LA, be called an “Uncle Jose” and denigrated in the corrupt, crimina DBM. Lose-lose.
