That is specifically the attitude I want to instill. I don’t want curiosity to kill my kids. With intimate knowledge of what a gun can do, they will understand and revere “All guns are loaded all of the time” and “Never point a gun at anyone you don’t fully intend to kill” instead of “because I said so.”

Neighbor’s house is okay; workmen back there now. 98% hot smoke; very little fire damage. Confined to one kitchen wall. Hole in wall, from p/u truck, being repaired. Mostly smoke damage from pieces of siding on fire. Lucky for no gas explosion. Truck missed 500g propane tank (tracks in snow) by >20ft.
