Ms. Marcotte has fallen victim to the same fatal flaw as the rest of our current culture: She gives NO consideration at all to the wise purposes or plan of her Creator.

“A great disaster had befallen Russia: Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.” ...Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn

A great disaster had befallen Russia

It took 20 years. But the Bear is back.

Indeed. Exactly how do Miss Marcotte and others who share her worldview think older people will be taken care of when they do not reproduce enough folks to take over their responsibilities as they retire?

Very true, and along with that, the roles that women played in society are now considered inferior. Right now, I am “grandma on call”, and when someone has a baby or is sick, I am the one who goes to help. Why is that not a meaningful job? What has happened to neighborhoods and communities? Women used to look out for each other, take care of their kids and neighbors, and be the ones to care for their families and the community. Now, neighborhoods are just row after row of empty houses during the day and people hardly know each other. If this is progress, then it’s a sad sort of progress.
