At a stadium they were building here 10 or so years ago, they had a similar ‘minority’ quota agreement. They never came close to meeting it, even for the unskilled positions. The reason? Few ‘minority’ applicants could get past the very first step — passing the mandatory drug testing.

If they could pass the drug test, I’m sure the Step #2 in Diversity Challenge was even more daunting:
1. Please read “See spot run.”
2. Which is larger? 5 or 1?
3. What color is the sky?

I saw that in Mass before my kid got hired by the City, all of the minority hires and a lot of the non minority hires got canned for flunking the pee test or busted for dealing.
The kid neither drinks or smokes and hates drugs after seeing the fate of a lot of his contemporaries. Hates hot foods though, Marchant stomach.
