Pelosi has never made sense. she’s a walking talking points and since she’s out of power, her talking points are stale. Wallace was kind of wasting his time talking to her.
That and I don’t really trust him after his performance last week with LaPierre.
At least she has some understanding of military life. Her husband retired as an 0-6 in the Navy Reserves and was the Veterans Administration Secretary.
Hagel is simply 'not all there.' I don't know if it is mental illness, alcohol, or what. But something is definitely not right with him. I feel sorry for him.
If it is Michèle Flournoy, everyone in the press and in the DoD is going to have to practice typing their little French accents over their "è" when spelling her first name, because I heard she will pitch a conniption fit about that.
What I wonder if is she will actually want to lead the DoD and defend it from the current budgetary assault it is under, or participate in the mauling herself and destroy it even faster.
If she is the new nominee, only time will tell.
I know one thing for sure, the Senate never wants to be seen "beating up" on a woman. It took Benghazi and 4 dead Americans before they even dared to question Hillary, and even then it was a love fest.
Flournoy would simply have to show up for the confirmation hearing and watch her feet being kissed.

He(petraeus) was turning the agency's focus from intelligence gathering and analysis to paramilitary operations, including drone strikes.
Additionally, he ran the CIA like a four-star general, instead of treating it like a political institution, the authors say. His management style made countless powerful enemies within the CIA.
The gist of the piece is that Petraeus was betrayed by bodyguards who told of his affair with Paula Broadwell and made sure he got out.
Meanwhile John Brennan, his now assured replacement, was doing hits with drones and not letting Petraeus know about it.
Other rumors are that some of the hits by brennan pissed off the local Libyan terror types so much they made the hit on Benghazi as payback.Another interesting possibility. This thing ever ends.

Somethings never change in DC, corruption and more corruption. Even if this is the answer to Benghazi, getting it out to the masses will be next to impossibe. (They can’t read!!!)
Looks like they ignored the hell out of him.
One would think that with all he had going on he would get any request he made authorized in a heartbeat. Why were they questioning requests made by a State Dept. rockstar unless he had become a liability.
Let's face it Benghazi was not your typical State dept. sub station.

Assuming the info is correct, Brennan’s secret operations (without warning Stevens, State) are likely what resulted in his death. obama authorized Brennan to run these secret ops, erego, .......
And obama wants him to run CIA?

He’s not only a renowned neurosurgeon but a Medal of Freedom recipient, I believe. Candy should get out more often.
