The willingness to wantonly use deadly force without any regard for due process or inconcent bystanders tells you everything you need to know about the existence of govt stooges’ willingness to use violence against the populace.”
It is called protecting your own.
When a citizen is under threat from an armed criminal, they call out the SWAT TEAM, bring in the tanks and gas grenades and make sure no “civil servant” gets injured and if the citizen dies, it is “Oh well, stuff happens”
When a member of their own is under threat, it is shoot first, and ask questions later. And if a few civilians become “collateral damage” well at least no cops got injured.
Cops refer to each other as "brother officers". That should be a clue as to how they feel about their own versus outsiders.
