The only acceptable uses I can see for the operation of drone aircraft within US borders are in unpopulated areas for testing by the manufacturers of the aircraft and training by military personnel for use overseas.

If the DEA or ATF or local police departments want to use these aircraft to place American citizens under the same kind of surveillance we use in the badlands between Pakistan and Afghanistan, we're looking at a situation the Stasi in East Germany could only have dreamed of.
