It was not out of context, it was perfectly matched to context.

I showed how the context of John 8 is VERY different from the case at hand. I even showed a Bible verse which matches the context.

The person that I posted it to was performing exactly like the Pharisees to whom it was originally said.

Again, the accusers in John 8 were misapplying the law about ADULTERY, not fornication. It does not match. Equating him to a Pharisee is an insult, as if anyone who is exercising judgment is a Pharisee. Anyone who points out sin is automatically labelled "legalistic", "judgmental", as if we are sinning in practicing judgment. This is another misconstruing of scripture (Matthew 7) where people read 7:1 and stop. They should read the entire chapter, or at least until verses :4 and :5 where we discover that to be effective in judgment, we must not be hypocrites.

Yeshua has paid the penalty for all sins, then and now, and the death penalty demanded by that FReeper is way out of line, and he knows it.

Jesus is the atonement for sin, but people will find that there are consequences for the sins they commit in this life. For example, the murderer on the cross next to Jesus was still crucified for his sins in the flesh--Jesus did not transport him down from his cross. But since the thief believed, he was spared Hell and will be spared the 2nd death (the lake of fire). All my sins are forgiven, but that doesn't mean I can blow off sin that grace may abound. Paul addresses this at length in Romans 6. Christ said, If we love him, we will keep his commandments (John 14:15, 21).

I traced the thread responses backwards: ->42->38->22->8->3->1. I missed any mention of "death penalty." His use of the term "kiddie porn" was the only thing I can see that might be construed as over the top. Apparently Federal law construes it as such. But the video was clearly not "a family video" or "a memento" as you want to portray it, minimize it. It was a lurid documenting of her shame which this young woman could only regret, not share with her "family".

What you have shown is that you, like Geron, who wants the death penalty for this “offence” that is really between two people and their messiah, are a Corinthian, and thus require the nourishment of sincere milk.

1Cor ch 6 deals with your problem, and will set you on a path to prepare to “judge the angels.”
