Hoofing it in a blinding snowstorm is awful. I had to do it just once and I truly thought that was the end of me.

I was dressed appropriately and I was only 25 years old.

I’ll never forget it and it was 55 years ago.

Snowstorms are not to be taken lightly but I never have been able to just sit and wait real well. But you did have an opportunity to find out what you were made of that day and that is worth a whole lot. Life is often just forcing yourself to put one foot in front of the other, regardless of what lies ahead. Glad you made it. Lots of people won’t even try to help themselves anymore.
