Really like what Dr.Carson said about politically correct speech and posturing. Essentially it is phony and deceptive behavior. It is meant to mask the true thoughts and position of those who practice it. At best it is meant to protect the feelings of people in a diverse and complex culture. At worst it is patronizing and offensive. Essentially politically correct people lie to people they engage. If they actually believe their lies, they are delusional and of course dangerous. Bring back honest discourse.

Political correctness was never about this. It was always about stifling views that dissent from the liberal orthodoxy. In essence, it is to make certain politically incorrect ideas (like liberty, God, etc.) unspeakable and eventually unthinkable.
