While scores of law enforcement officers continued to search Friday for a fugitive ex-cop suspected of killing three people, San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said he is worried about armed Big Bear residents -- whom he calls "hearty" --- taking the law into their own hands.

My kinda people
After reading about his extensive inland waterway military training my first thought was this guy will head deep into the Sacramento Delta, I grew up there on one of the islands, miles and miles of hidden sloughs and places to hide a houseboat.
That’s disgusting, This rogue psycho is no hero.
If he had a plan, it hasn’t gone like clockwork, I gather. I understand that he tried to steal a boat somewhere and that didn’t come off.
I agree, some of the things he said in his “opus” seemed to indicate that. He seems very needy of acceptance.
I bet the sheriff is “worried” because one of the locals might shoot Dorner in the head and wreck the chances for scientists to study his brain.
To be completely honest, on the day I meet my maker (hopefully after the SHTF) and he asks “Why did you take so much pleasure in the suffering of liberals?” I am afraid I will have no good answer for him. Because when the SHTF and they get the blowback they so richly earned, I am going to absolutely laugh my arse off.
Not proud of that. But it’s true.
I think it will be alright. The left, these days, is unadulterated evil, and Our Lord vehemently opposed evil, and gave His blessing for us to do the same.
Of course they’re (the locals) not members if the left, but consider my next comment.
Of course not. I believe in ALL the Amendments.
Schadenfreude.
Sheriff John McMahon
SAN BERNARDINO Assistant Sheriff John McMahon was unanimously appointed as the next Sheriff of San Bernardino County, in keeping with the recommendation of an appointed ad hoc committee during Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
I dont have a problem with my sheriff retiring, but I found it extremely uncomfortable and unfair that, during the process, to also announce who he wanted as his successor, Gonzales said. When we look at McMahon, I think it is only fair that we look at his accomplishments and why he deserves the position.
The issue of an appointment versus a special election came up multiple times during the meeting, with various people expressing frustration that their voices were not heard.
This isnt about Schrader or McMahon. Its about the process and board of supervisors, said Jill Parkinson, wife to Los Angeles County Sheriffs Deputy Paul Schrader. I am profoundly disappointed in watching you operate.
Schrader, who received 21 percent of the vote when he ran against Hoops in 2010, wished to be considered for the position, and several people spoke in his defense during the public discussion.

Droning this lunatic would benefit Obama’s ‘domestic terror’ drone agenda immensely . Heck, I bet zero is operating the drone all hisself.
It just hit me that we are seeing/ will see the scenario from "The Grapes of Wrath" in reverse.
Book is totally worthless propaganda, btw. If you never read it, please refrain from doing so in the future.
Hopefully the joke will be on those that deserve it.
Sad the amount of damage the dirtbags on the Left and the GOP have caused.
Like Mike Tyson said “everybody has a plan till I punch him in the face”. Anybody that’s ever planned any type of op knows that once the shooting starts your plans need to be flexible. So options are important as is your ability to adapt.
The news report just said he also has a .50 cal. rifle.
Now, I can't speak for anybody else but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be hiking thru in snow in the mountains carrying one of those things......
I picked one up in a gun store once and that was one heavy son of a gun........
LOL!!!! The LAPD already showed what’s that like.
