Woah! I can’t imagine the size of the weapon that fires a .50 cal. round with a five inch bullet! Hell wouldn’t that make the whole round about eight or nine inches long Caseless: The main propellent wraps around the bullet, which gets an intial kick from a booster charge.

Yes, but I still don’t believe the “bullet” is “five Inches long”. My point is that these “journalists” don’t know the difference between ammunition components and a completed round of ammunition.
