My Mom (86) lives in Quincy MA (just a mile south of Boston) and her house has been without power since the storm. My Sister and B-I-L live upstairs and they tried to get into a motel, but all of them are booked solid with refugees. So they bundled Mom off to Braintree to a friend’s home and are staying there until the power is restored. Meanwhile, Mom has been sick and recently hospitalized, and the medicine that was given to her has caused dementia and severe agitation. I put up a good front here on FR, but I am very, very worried about what to do next. The situation up there is really grim. It is a miracle that we are hearing from ANY of our Massachusetts FRiends.

Just got back from a chamber music concert in Beaufort (SC). Great show.

Wow. I can understand your fears. The news is scary for that part of the country.
