The blizzard of 78 was quite a storm. The cars were buried, and people actually were stuck in their cars out on 128. The coastal storm surge was serious, with many homes destroyed in Scituate, and other beach towns. Something like 75 people died in the storm, and it took days before the roads were cleared.

We did however get the local package store dug out within 24 hours.

Ah yes, I hit the packy on my way to my girlfriend’s when they let us off- about noon I think. Remember her trying to move her car to permitted parking areas for a while before giving up. The city made a fortune on tows.

Foolishness must be a survival trait of the young LOL!
