It is not that the dems “brand” is strong. Barely 50% of the people support it if you set aside the fraud vote. What is strong is their willingness to back their “brand.” What we have is a republican party with elites who hate their own brand, run from their own grassroots, and search for the approval of the democrats. They envy the fact that the dems can manufacture people who will do as they are told and vote for whatever they put up. Conservatives, a large block of the republican party, think about who and what they are voting for and like the elephant that represents the party, they don’t forget when a RINO stabs them in the back.
Low info dems can always be counted on to come out and vote the way the dems want them to vote when they play to their brand. Low interest republicans are not zombies and have to be given a reason to support the republican of choice. Unfortunately for the republican establishment that runs from anything conservative, they hate conservative principles too much to power up low interest voters so they try to coerce people into voting for their candidate. But that tactic is getting less successful each time they use it.
The dems playbook now says play to your base and in the end you will win. I can’t imagine the GOPe RINOs ever agreeing to do that. You can see their response for yourself in Tokyo Rove’s behavior. He’s already looking for ways to rid himself of the base and its “brand.”

I see a different playbook. Liberals have been playing the long game. They infiltrated the public schools. They took ownership. And have turned out 2+ generations of mush heads. In addition, the young minds they poisoned are now in positions of influence in the media, and in colleges.
We will have to absorb our beatings. They are coming, and there is nothing we can do to stop them. We’re seriously outnumbered. But, our message is the right message, and it is the message that stands up to scrutiny. So, if we get back to basics and educate young minds, we can eventually turn the tide. Anything short of that will result in continued beatings from the deviant liberal culture.
