The other day Hannity was talking about about Paul Harvey and what a long career he had, which made me think about George Putnam who I think continued a radio show into his nineties. And now your comment brings him to mind again because I think he was the most conservative Democrat I ever knew! Now that may not be what you had in mind but makes me wonder what happened to all the old school Democrats like HIM.

You’re very correct about George Putnam, and I believe VDH to be a Democrat also. Hard to imagine.

What happened to the conservative democrats? The nanny state killed them. The democrats did a “Rove” several decades ago.
