All you need to do either one is form a new national committee and invite the state parties to send delegates for an organizing meeting.
The dem establishment is having this problems too. The blue dogs are bitterly hated. I often wondered what would happen if the tea party allied with the blue dogs. Would they have enough critical mass to make a difference?
What about us getting blue dogs elected and co-opting the dems? It might be easier than changing the GOP!
