We could send them out with the Air Wing and not let them fly. If we expected them to actually fly and maintain day/night quals expect to refuel JP-5 twice/week for a total of 4-5 million gallons. Equipment tends to break when it’s being used - electronics, weapons systems, pumps. If you’re not at sea, you don’t need to replace them.

This does seem passive aggressive. Can anyone interpret what this is supposed to mean?
