I think the real consideration here is that Putin has seen how much incredible power the big homosexual organizations have in the US, how they can sway elections and destroy churches etc. -— and has no intention of allowing competitive organizations -— non-government organizations -— gain that much power in the USSR.

Putin knows power. And he doesn’t intent to let any other groups have it.

Too bad Russia still isn't Commie. The "gays" don't care about "gay rights" in Communist (or moslem) countries. The fact that they're paddling Russia is certainly evidence that they are not simply the old USSR under camouflage.
