When I was a kid back in the late 40's and early 50's, I used to strap on my Roy Rogers guns and holsters and take them to school with me. Others would too and when recess came, we would go out and play fast draw or 'cowboys and Indians'. There were no teachers or administrators complaining. We all had fun back then.

My Step-Dad said he had Roy Rogers guns and other memorabilia when he was a kid. Your post reminded me of it!
