Mark Levin Savages Karl Rove’s ‘Diabolical’ Anti-Tea Party PAC: ‘We’re Being Stabbed In The Back’
Mediaite ^ | Noah Rothman

Conservative radio host Mark Levin went after former George W. Bush advisor, Karl Rove, during his radio show on Monday after Rove announced the formation of a new PAC that would aid moderate Republican politicians against tea party challengers in primary races. Levin called Rove’s effort ‘diabolical’ and listed the many GOP officeholders who would not be in power but for the tea party insurgency.

“We’re being stabbed in the back,” Levin declared.

“Here’s a project funded by crony capitalists, funded by corporatists — who are not conservative — funding a group called the Conservative Victory Project,” Levin began. “This is the sort of thing Barack Obama does; this is a thing Marxists do; they give a name to themselves which has nothing to do with what they’re really up to in order to try and control the propaganda.”

“I’m just showing you how diabolical this effort is,” Levin continued.

He read a portion of the mission statement of the new PAC, taking issue most with the organization’s stated agenda of “imposing discipline” on the Republican Party. Levin listed a number of sitting Republican officeholders who emerged from the primary process backed by tea party support. Levin suggested that it was the tea party which imposed discipline on the GOP.

“The diversity that comes to the Republican Party is through the conservative and tea party movement, not through the Republican establishment,” Levin said. “They backed [Charlie] Crist in Florida. They backed the moderate lieutenant governor in Texas. They put up a moderate attorney general in Kentucky to try and beat Rand Paul. They backed the moderate-to-liberal Republican longtime serving Senator Bob Bennett serving in Utah.”

Getting donations from very rich Republicans to 'voice their opinions' in commercials? Seems like 'speech' to me and this guy:,

LOL, your comments are sad. They have absolutely nothing to do with Mark being contradictory on Free Speech matters or such.

Do you honestly think that Mark believe Rove has "no right" to undertake his devious effort? Can you answer that question?

All Mark is doing is highlighting the destructive path that Rove is taking.

Do you think that Rove truly believes in the Conservatism commonly expressed on Free Republic? Rove is a pure Statist at heart. Rove is on the side of those who worship at the Power of the State.

Rove's contempt for our Constitution matches Obamas.

Mark Levin exposes Karl Rove as the faux conservative, diabolically sabotoging Tea Party conservatives.

Rove has been successful in forcing squishy moderate votes to join McQueeg and Graham in the Senate. Check out this vote to sell F-16s to Egypt and the Morsi Brotherhood ...

here are the Republican senators who shamefully voted to provide Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government with F-16s and Abrams tanks: Alexander, Ayotte, Barasso, Blunt, Burr, Chambliss, Coburn, Cochran, Collins, Corker, Enzi, Flake, Graham, Hatch, Hoeven, Inhofe, Isakson, Johanns, Johnson, Kirk, McCain, McConnell, Murkowski, Portman, Toomey, and Wicker.

Kudos to the 18 Republicans who joined Senator Paul in trying to stop the arming of America’s enemies: Boozman, Coats, Cornyn, Crapo, Cruz, Fischer, Grassley, Heller, Lee, Moran, Risch, Roberts, Rubio, Scott, Sessions, Shelby, Thune, and Vitter.

Rove doesnt have a radios show so he collects big $$$ from those (no-one I know) who agree with him to run ads.

We dont have to agree with him to defend his constitutional rights to free speech.
Why do you hate freedom so much?

LOLO

How about we conservatives simply stop giving the RNC or any Republican not a TEA Party supporter any money or votes? Give only directly to TEA Party supporting candidates even if they’re not in your area. I am done with the Republican party. I registered (I) and will not be voting for or giving any more money to any (R) candidate unless they are TEA party ‘members’. (There is no “TEA Party” to be a member of, but if they support it and participate with it, OK.)

LHoward asks Red: So, are you clueless, or just another big-mouth lying scumbag? for observing that "in the end," Levin and Rush end up getting on board with the GOPe.

Lancey, both Rush and Levin were earnestly urging me to vote for the guy who grandfathered Obamacare, for crying out loud!!!!!! They wanted me to vote FOR a guy who was philosophically perfectly okay with that, and with forcing adoption agencies to accommodate gay "parents." Rush and Levin were earnestly urging me to vote FOR that guy, who also opposes the overturning of Roe v Wade. Rush and Levin wanted me to vote FOR a guy who is wholly on-board with the cap-and-trade "save the planet" environmentalist agenda, which absolutly seeks to seize power over individual Americans' basic human rights to self suffiency, to produce food and energy for themselves and others.

Rush and Levin were urging me to vote FOR a guy whose record illustrated everything I've been voting "Republican" all these decades to oppose.

I see zero "big mouth lying scumbags" here, though you definitely need a clue.

I certainly hope so. I want to change my Republican registration of 52 years to something else.

I disagree, the cards and rules are stacked against any change in the Republican party by this bunch of statist. Working within the party is no longer a viable option IMHO.

The democrats are going to win the 2014 and 2016 election cycles while the Republican party slowly disintegrates. A new party will emerge but as I said in the mean time the liberals will have another 8 yrs. of rule.

Even if the liberal Republicans pull off a win in either election at best you slow the countries destruction down but you are still losing ground to liberals and progressives.

The only hope is a third party formed quickly and running candidates at all levels: nationally, state and locally and it will take some big names in conservative circles walking out of the GOP very publicly and causing as much damage to the GOP in the process. It will be nasty and the country will pay, but rather than prolong this process I say lets get to the rat killing and let the GOP die and a new conservative party form.

If you claim to have listened to Rush or Levin during the past five years, then I’m calling you out as a liar. I happen to be self-employed and on the road or in my home office a great deal of the time and get to listen to those guys daily. Many hours worth of listening. Neither of them was in the slightest bit enthusiastic about Mittens. Quite the opposite, in fact. Both Rush and Levin were mostly disgusted by the way the primary played out and could only shake their heads when it yielded Mittens as the GOP nominee. You could almost hear them rolling their eyes when they even had to talk about Mittens.

No. Their main concern was flushing the African communist turd down the toilet by any means necessary, and if that meant clamping a vice-grip on your nose and voting for a placeholder like Mittens, then so be it. (Personally, I simply could not vote for Mittens, and didn’t.)

But to read you and that other assclown claim that Rush and Levin were actively pushing FOR Mittens while clapping Rove and the GOP on the back is a dead giveaway that neither of you listen to their programs. And since that is clearly the case, you would do better to just stfu rather than come off like an ignoramus, or worse, a rat troll.

I have seen you around here for a long time and I believe we are on the same side, but my advice to you would be to stick with what you know rather than get comfortable regurgitating the manufactured meme of liars and trolls who want to smear conservatives’ strongest allies. I try to fight that lying meme, and beat back the smears and the trolls. (Hence, this post and my previous post to the troll.)

FRegards,
LH

I am sorry you seem incapable of critical thinking -- lol. I pray you can educate yourself.

Mark Levin and I have absolutely NO issue with Rove's right to do what he is doing. Nothing at all Mark stated yesterday or what I have written today implied that Rove should "NOT" have the right to do what he is doing. No rational person can dispute that.

We do have the right to discuss that what Rove is undertaking is a direct assault on Conservatives and limited government. Mark is trumpeting the fact that what Rove is undertaking a campaign against real Conservatism.

Please, tell me exactly what I have commented upon causes you to ask Why do you hate freedom so much?

You either have had a bad educational upbringing, or are a deep plant from the DUmp, or you are just young and naive.

Please go and educate yourself on fundamental logical reasoning. Have a nice day :)

The tea party is succeeding and is a powerful and effective political movement, Rove’s camp has proved devastating and incompetent, for instance Romney losing an election that was impossible to lose.

Yes, don’t give the RNC any money, just donate to candidates that you like in the primaries. For example this State senator Bright in S.C might be mounting a challenge to Lindsey Graham. He deserves our direct support. If you like the candidate consider being generous.

RE :”I pray you can educate yourself.”

HA-HA, you repeat his little jingles too.

But seriously, the First Amendment is supposed to cover even those you and Mark disagree with, NOT just Levin, Rush and Hannity.

Why do you hate freedom?? ya-cha

Ha, now I understand you. You don't like Levin. You are intellectually extremely insecure and are likely a DUmp sympathizer.

Please get out the basement more -- lol. I wont be responding to any more of your laughable and pathetically sad posts. I truly pity people like you.

Thanks for the good laughs :) LOL

I have to LOL at your frustration. I, too, once got sucked into a "debate" (and I use the word loosely, as it was strictly one-sided) with the same childish moron who sucked you in. Check out this thread, post #6 and then posts #21 - #27. I feel for you, brother - - and I think you nailed it. Pure troll.

RE :”Ha, now I understand you. You don't like Levin. You are intellectually extremely insecure and are likely a DUmp sympathizer. “

Give up your war on Liberty and the constitution:

Levin above:
Election after election, powerbrokers like the infamous political Republican strategist Karl Rove and his campaign money machine are working to deprive Americans of the fundamental concept of choice in our elections.

This sounds so familiar.

Obama in Rose Garden 2010 on Citizen's United:
These shadow groups are already forming and building war chests of tens of millions of dollars to influence the fall elections.
