MORGAN: A, I won't leave you alone because this is a debate that has to be had in America. No we don't, not least because liberals don't debate fair. When sentiment swings the liberals' way for a bit and they get what they want, it instantly becomes "settled law". When common sense prevails and conservatives beat back the idiocy, it doesn't similarly become forevermore taboo to broach the subject, it's just a national conversation that hasn't been finished. So long as conservatives let liberals write the rules to the game, they shouldn't be surprised when they keep losing it.

Ted Nugent handled Mr. Morgan quite adequately, I think. Morgan's position is intractably wrong, and it's obvious that he cannot be persuaded to another viewpoint, but Nugent did the best he could under the circumstances.
The venue from which last night's show originated is less than a mile from Milton Miteybad's abode, and Milton has been known to send a few rounds downrange at that facility from time to time. When you enter the front door of Tactical Firearms, you are greeted by a Browning M2 on a tripod, plus another .50 caliber of some type (make and vintage unknown to Milton.) Both are available for rental, if you have the money ($125.00/hour + $4.00/round, as I recall.)
The only reason I watched the show last night was to see if Mr. Morgan crapped his pants upon entering the building and confronting this heavy artillery. To Morgan's credit, he not only apparently managed to avoid soiling his drawers, but he ran a belt of rounds through the M2 just for the experience. He was flabbergasted that anyone would want such a thing, as though he were utterly unfamiliar with the concept of firearms as a store of value.
I'm not interested in watching Mr. Morgan's program again, because judging from the presentation last night, he is completely out of intellectual ammunition (heh, heh...) on this issue once he asks the vapid question, "What would you say to the parents of the poor children slaughtered in Newtown?" Very little else he had to say on this issue was of any real value.
But I will give him credit from not soiling his britches. ;-)

Wasn't Piers Morgan scheduled to do a show from a Texas firearms dealer yesterday?
What happened with that?
