I never understood and certainly never subscribed to the Ron Paul fever of the last few years.

ANYone that seems to capture primarily a youth vote is suspicious in my book

I feel there was a Ross Perot effect. Perot actually had a patriotic intent, and some durn good ideas, even if a few of his views were batty. I feel that Paul latched on to that discontent with the (obviously broken) “two party but not really, we are just kidding, it’s really ONE party” system that Perot made much more legitimate.
