Never. There is no encroachment, on any Right, that did not start out as a ‘recommendation’; seat belt laws for example.
I, for one, will never support any background check. I will happily pay the extra $$ to know my hand-shake and trading of metal for $$ will be the end of the line, as far as the State/Fed are concerned.
As much as no bill has cost what it was estimated, so to no nose under the tent should be allowed; for while I, as a Citizen, am obligated to obey the Law, those that derive the power from the same Citizens, willfully try to place their boot upon our necks.
