Donald Trump said Monday that he’s suing liberal comic Bill Maher for $5 million for charity because Maher did not follow through on a public bet he made on “The Tonight Show.”
“He promised me $5 million for charity if I provided certain information,” Trump said Monday on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.” “Well I provided the information. He didn’t pay. So today I sue Bill Maher for $5 million for charity.”
Last month, Maher said on NBC to Jay Leno that he would pay $5 million to Trump’s charity of choice if he provided a birth certificate proving that he’s not “spawn of his mother having sex with orangutan.” It was similar to an offer Trump made to President Barack Obama during the presidential campaign season, in which Trump wanted Obama to release his college records.
“[Maher] made me an offer. I accepted the offer immediately, and he didn’t come through with the $5 million,” Trump said on Fox News.

I love it, and hoped he would sue. And I hope that dip$shit Maher loses on an parody claim or the like.
Our country would be a better place if both of these people just shut the heck up.
It must be a miserable man who has to stoop to such antics to get attention.
I wouldn’t want Trump’s money if I had to take his demons to go with it.

I have to respectfully disagree with you. Maher is scum and he needs to learn that his vulgar and stupid insults are not comedy. Maybe if he spends some time and money on lawyers he’ll be more circumspect in the future.

As with the typical liberal, insults take the place of arguments. Socrates once said “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser”. Slander is all the left has ever used.
It’ll be thrown out as frivolous and Trump will have to pay expenses if he goes through with it. Trump would probably appeal to the highest court. LOL.
I’d rather he spent his time and money on bone specialists. And possibly a prosthetic nose.

Oh, so you know Donald Trump personally? If not, I would not be so quick to judge.
Bill Maher, his initials say it all.

At least Donald doesn’t have “chimp ears” like B..... O.... .
Well, for one thing, he won’t be suing MAher, he will be suing the company Maher works for. So in essence the Lawyers will win. Any settlements will be between Maher’s company and Trump. Having said that, I wouldn’t be so quick to say that this is a frivolous law suit.
