Personally I think it is an attention getter! Just another LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME! ploy. I think most people who go into show business have this personality quirk. Some like to remain private when they aren’t performing but those people don’t take small fluffy dogs with them out in public I’ll bet ‘cha! I was in an art class with a woman who had this personality quirk and kept talking about the little dog she wanted to get so she could take it with her everywhere she went. finally one day she showed up in art class with a cute little Yorkie under her arm and she was beaming. It only lasted a couple of weeks and she found out the little living breathing creature was was not a stuff toy and it had needs so she got rid of it.
