I'm not big into conspiracy theories. I never bought into the grassy knoll in Dallas or the anti-Obama birther movement. And it will take a lot of convincing for me to believe Oakland Raiders coach Bill Callahan took a dive in Super Bowl XXXVII to please his friend (and opposing coach) Jon Gruden. But I do believe that America's political tilt toward progressivism is the product of a lot of grassroots work by very liberal groups intent on remaking the American economy and culture. One such example is the focus of an interesting piece in the latest edition of the progressive magazine Mother Jones. The article chronicles a December, 2012 mega-meeting of the left's most powerful groups, including the National Education Association, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Communications Workers of America and the NAACP. The agreed upon coordinated agenda: get (right-wing) money out Romney's policies would have been Bush redux Ehrlich is wrong: Lower taxes don't spur growth or solve deficits Obama economics: Such initiatives are common in the Obama era, as the American left seeks to take advantage of a permissive, secular era in America. One major goal: redefine the relationship between Americans and their government. And this time, the line will be favorably drawn toward a more intrusive state. Other relevant players are familiar enough to followers of American politics. They range from special interest groups (Service Employees International Union, American Federation of Teachers, American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, NARAL, People for the American Way) to super wealthy individuals stationed on Wall Street and in places like Hollywood. (George Soros, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, George Lucas). That these and other left-leaning players were key to the election and re-election of President Barack Obama is irrefutable. Their members and money were in turn brilliantly utilized by a veteran...

Why is that?
Very few conspiracies I buy into. I’m skeptical of conspiracies because often, even through there are pieces of evidence that support a conspiracy, the overwhelming majority of the evidence discredits it.
One so-called conspiracy I am very much signed on to however, is that Obama has been involved in corruption, election fraud, and political murder throughout his career. Analysis of the real Obama dead pool (not the fake one floating around), has convinced me that all of the murders and convenient deaths that have played into Obama’s hands cannot be mere coincidence.
Donald Young, Larry Bland, Nate Spencer, Bill Gwatney, Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Kam Kuwata, Michael Cormier, Andrew Breitbart.
I cannot believe that all three homosexual members of Obama’s church, who he had been accused of having sexual relations with, just died coincidentally within 40 days of each other, two shot repeatedly, and the other from septicemia.
I cannot believe that two ardent Hillary supporters who were part of a plan to derail Obama’s nomination at the DNC coincidentally died days before the convention. One shot by a man with no motive, one found braindead in her car.
I cannot believe that an operative said to have witnessed Obama under the influence of drugs during the DNC dies of natural causes in his home despite being perfectly healthy.
And I sure as hell can’t believe that Breitbart died of a heart attack, when the one eye-witness describes seeing symptoms not attributed to heart attacks, and the coroner who was and then wasn’t conducting the autopsy died of arsenic poisoning the day the autopsy was released.
Obama is the dirtiest politician in American history, and while Blago and Rezco were taken down, he remains untouched. When will this man answer for everything he’s done?
Mgist is a conspiracy against you. Beware.
-But this could be just a knee-jerk response, mind. :)
Got a feeling there is NO right or Left Wing Conspiracy...
The people in charge use whatever wing is useful...
if they use “a wing” at all..
They are SOoo in charge that getting clear of them IS THE Conspiracy..
That “we” at FR are the conspiratorial-ists.. and very few others..
Seems that the US has been run by malefactors for many decades..
The not so new normal is maleficent..
Trying to change it IS THE CONSPIRACY..
Which I’m ok with.. Whats normal is not conspiracy..
Does anyone know what the following means?
“The agreed upon coordinated agenda: get (right-wing) money out Romney’s policies would have been Bush redux Ehrlich is wrong: Lower taxes don’t spur growth or solve deficits Obama economics: Such initiatives . . .”
That’s because of the way the except was posted. Go read the original article and you’ll see.
Agreed. nobama makes Clinton look like a beginner.
nobama will pay in Hell for sure. Hopefully he'll also pay while he's still here.
I'm on a tiny ipad, and it is difficult to post into FR on ipad's and phone's. There isn't an APP for that yet. Sorry.
If you want, FReepmail me the link and I’ll post the article for you.
