Looking at the end of the barrel (top) it might be a blank fire adapter, as some here suggested.
A barrel reduction sleeve makes no sense with the barrel obviously ported on the right side.
I have never seen such a blank fire adapter, but there is definately something odd about the barrel end. Too big to be a choke sleeve.
With the picture blown up, now none of it looks right. The end of the muzzle is orange, and where the ports are drilled, you don’t see any smoke coming out.
Whoever organized this, it’s such a poor excuse for a photo-op that the person ought to be fired. We’re going to tear this thing apart.
