His sight line also appears to be going through the barrel, not on top of it. Add to that he’s holding it more like a rifle than a shotgun. He's also standing side on: which means he's firing across his body, which smushes his cheek aganist the stock, and doesn't allow enough length of forestock for a natural grip (his fingers are curved backward).
