I’m ranch raised myself-returned to the country as soon as I could, and will never leave again. A number of parents live here and commute to work because they want their kids in a small country school district, but most of kids in this community are either homeschooled, or go to the nearby
Christian school.

I grew up in a city but was a kid in the 50's. My neighborhood in Ohio isn't the same. I went to the same school that my Mother did. It was torn down last year to "consolidate".
I raised my kids in a rural township but even that was becoming politically correct.
Homeschooling is the best alternative.
