Suppose you're right, how does this explain the reason Geraldo is saying he's running as a Republican because they've gone too far to the right?

I've been giving this serious thought as I read all these posts on FR and I see that I am out of step with most Freepers as far as strategy is concerned.

I believe we all desire the same things ultimately and the difference is in strategy how to get there.

Then I think can how can I be this far out of synch on strategy with most Freepers. Now, every Freeper must agree that it will take 51 Republican senators to take control of the US Senate from the Democrats. Now, this is the question I have for Freepers; do you think it more noble to allow Democrats to have perpetual control of the Senate, and even increase their numbers, than to elect less than perfect Republicans?

What is your strategy for taking control of the Senate?

The only reason I'm even bothering to acknowledge you is to suggest that people take a look at your moderate hardline posting history.

The simple fact is that moderates are even lower than democrats because they don't have the courage to take the fight to where its hard. Instead they spend their days attacking conservatives while giving their friends on the left cover to move even further to the left.

Moderates are nothing but lying manipulative bottom feeding scum who can all kiss my ass.

What is your strategy for taking control of the Senate?

What was the strategy for the French resistance in WW II? To align with the Vichy French to fight the Germans? It's the same thing with the Vichy Republicans.
