Thanks Judge Roberts! Actually no thanks! This is all your fault for changing your vote!

Wouldn’t it be great if they discovered an amendment in OC that stipulated every elected official from dog-catcher to Great Leader had to subscribe to the plan, just like the peasants?

This is where ther 20K comes from- but the actual premium is $2600 if you read the whole paragraph.
.............................

Example 2. Family. (i) In 2016 Taxpayers M and N are married and file a joint
return. M and N have two children, P and Q. M, N, P, and Q are ineligible to enroll in
minimum essential coverage other than coverage in the individual market for a month in
2016. The annual premium for M, N, P, and Q’s applicable plan is $20,000. The
adjusted annual premium for M, N, P, and Q’s applicable benchmark plan (within the
meaning of §1.36B-3(f)) is $25,000. M and N’s household income is $80,000, which is
347 percent of the Federal poverty line for a family size of 4 for the taxable year.
(ii) Under paragraph (e)(4)(ii)(C) of this section, the credit allowable under section
36B is determined pursuant to section 36B. With household income at 347 percent of
the Federal poverty line, the applicable percentage is 9.5. Because each month in 2016
is a coverage month (within the meaning of §1.36B-3(c)), the maximum credit allowable
61
under section 36B is the excess of the premium for the applicable benchmark plan over
the product of the household income and the applicable percentage ($17,400).
Therefore, under paragraph (e)(4)(ii)(A) of this section, the required contribution for M,
N, P, and Q is $2,600. Under paragraph (f)(2) of this section, M, N, P, and Q have
affordable coverage for 2016 because their required contribution ($2,600) does not
exceed 8 percent of their household income ($6,400).

Looks like a lot of people will be going to jail for not paying. Maybe that's how the rumored internment camps will be used. Slave labor if you pay for Obamacare and slave labor if you don't.

No, that is totally unacceptable.

That whole bunch of corrupt inside traders and their corrupt lobbyist partners along with the corrupt judges need to be prosecuted and sent to prison.

The laws have to apply to everyone equally in order for this republic to function as intended. We are witnessing what happens when the laws are ignored.

under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.

So the families with incomes of about 25k per year, will live off 5k all year long, in tents under freeway overpasses.

so, depending on the IRS defintion of penalizeable income or filing limits, and what the 24K threshold income really means: it maybe that gov’t health insurance will be *free* for families under the 24K minimum threshold. i seem to recall that is about the average private sector household income in America, and that such families pay little tax. of course gov’t health insurance != healthcare.

so, if i’m right, if you make more then 24K, you’re now rich! you’ve got it made, baby. the IRS is going to take .025 percent as an excise over the threshold or at least $1985 (8% of 24K?) or $2085 and give it to the *new* middle class (defined by the gov’t as families making below 24K). wow, redistribution baby. it’s nice to know that making 24K and above puts a big fat target on your back right on up to 8% of everything you make.

they get to define their worthless insurance plan, ruining our healthcare and then they make you pay for not using it. God save us.

Except, of course for the apparatchiks, who will have free platinum service.

And, of course, the peasantry, who will get the free (crapola, but free) service.

We’re paying less than half that amount for our socialized health care here in Germany.

What idiot would buy it for $20,000, when the penalty to NOT buy it and still get it is a measly $2000+?
