The act will give gun owners a $2,000 tax credit when they turn their weapons in. According to experts, AR-15s usually cost about $1,000.

Is it a refundable tax credit? If so, I'm all for it. Once this hoopla blows over and the market re-stabilizes, I could turn in my old AR-15 and get enough tax dollars to buy two new ones!

In Connecticut He may get a $2000.00 dollar Credit but he’ll have to give a percentage back to the State for the next years income tax.

Government gives and the government takes away.
