I remember reading these same articles about the democrats back around 2005 when Republican had controlled congress for over ten years and held the presidency as well. These things go in cycles, eventually the democrats will do something to piss enough people off like they did in the early 1990’s and they will be gone as well. I'm not trying to sound overly optimistic but we are in a far better place today than we were in 2009 or the early years of the Clinton administration when Democrats controlled everything by substantial margins.

Don’t agree. The left has imported a NEW people & will give some kind of amnesty to 20 million more soon. The old political calculus is OVER. We also lost control of our medical freedom, forever ! We have Obamacare. We no long longer have free market medicine.

I disagree, The democrat machine never quits grinding. It IS the “communist” party and it has goals which it has been achieving in ever perceptible strides. The GOP is a joke and I sorely wish there was a viable alternative to it. It seems that there is no disaster, great enough, to dissuade masses of people from voting for democrats. But then there truly is no loyal opposition.
