NEW ORLEANS San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver has made inflammatory comments regarding homosexuality in football just a few days before Super Bowl XLVII.
Shock jock Artie Lange revealed he had interviewed Culliver at media day Tuesday and aired a segment on his show that night, where the player insisted that any gay players would not be welcome on the team.
"I don't do the gay guys man," said Culliver, whose Niners play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. "I don't do that. No, we don't got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do.
"Can't be with that sweet stuff. Nah can't be in the locker room man. Nah."
When quizzed by Lange whether any homosexual athletes would need to keep their sexuality a secret in football, Culliver responded: "Yeah, come out 10 years later after that."

He may find openly gay San Francisco wont appreciate his comments..
He’s going to pay for this indiscretion dearly, but he did speak his mind . . . and bully for him. Hope it doesn’t affect his career.
If it hurts his NFL career, he can always teach English.
One thing for sure, he didn’t major in English at South Carolina.
Doesn't exactly help your cause if one of your "spokesmen" is a guy like this.
Pervertspeak is identical to koranimalspeak :
"Blasphemy" or "inflammatory" speech is ANYTHING they decide they don't want to hear. Antithecal to a political system with a Bill of Rights, which is not subject to elimination or modification.
His apology will be forthcoming in the next 24 hrs. Bet’cha. Also the No Fun League will fine his highly articulate *ss. I admire his candor though.
How dare he be a normal man!/sarcasm
“Koranimal”: Thanks, but I’m not sure I needed to add that word to my vocabulary.
And according to a sports site:
“The Memphis Grizzlies and Toronto Raptors have agreed to a trade in principle that would send F Rudy Gay to Toronto in exchange for PG Jose Calderon and F Ed Davis, according to numerous reports.”
I hope the headline doesn’t read: Toronto gets Gay.
Now I’ve got a team for the Super Bowl!
Sure it does, he's just keeping it real.
no--but SF will still love the NINERS as will the rest of the Bay Area (minus Raiders fans)...
go NINERS!
They should ask women athletes if having a guy in the lockers room would bother them
See: this is what we need to make the "media" answer to when they print this trash: "What do you have against Free Speech? Huh?"
He’s speaking the same thoughts most every other football player is probably thinking. What straight guy wants to play a high-contact sport with a gay guy? And then there’s the showers afterwards. If a team lets gays play, then at least give them their own locker room.
Locker rooms, showers? Visualize those as bunkers or foxholes “ala” Hillary, “what’s the difference?”
Hope he doesn't care what they think or don't think. I sure don't.
