I learned a huge and valuable lesson when I was a junior in high school. The small private school I was in was closing and the Shreveport TV news came to interview some kids about it. What I
said was "Its no secret the school has been having big financial problems the last couple of years so you can't say its shocking that this will be our last year here." What I saw myself say on TV that night was, "Its shocking that this will be our last year here."
Also, I found out the locally famous news guy was really a tiny tiny little jockey-sized man and he stood 3 feet closer to the camera to make him appear taller than us kids! Haha!
